TYLER, Texas – The Ouachita Baptist University men's soccer team played its first true road game of the 2022 season on Thursday evening, falling to UT-Tyler by a final score of 2-0.
After a scoreless first half, the Patriots (3-0) found the net first in the 61st minute, and then added a late goal for cushion in the 87th minute.
UT-Tyler held a 19-7 advantage in total shots and an 8-2 margin in shots on goal.
Ebon Jordan accounted for five of Ouachita's seven shots.
David Stankovic had the other two. Each had a shot on goal.
The Tigers stay on the road in northeast Texas, taking on Dallas Baptist on Saturday afternoon starting at 3 p.m.
