ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita men's soccer team fell to No. 16 Southern Nazarene on Thursday at home by a final score of 4-1.
SNU (10-3-2, 8-1 GAC/MIAA) took advantage of two corner kicks to score twice in the first 12 minutes to take an early lead. The Crimson Storm added another in the 26th minute to take a 3-0 lead.
Ouachita (0-13-3, 0-8-2 GAC/MIAA) got on the board with just under a minute remaining before halftime on a goal by
Grant Isbell from the assist of
Will Childers. It was Isbell's second goal of the season and third of his career. Childers' assist marked his first career point.
The Crimson Storm wasted little in the second half to score its fourth and final goal of the game less than a minute into the period.
SNU ended up with a 25-5 lead in total shots, a 14-3 lead in shots on frame, and an 8-3 lead in corner kicks.

Dillon Staal matched a career-high in Thursday's game with 10 saves.
