SHAWNEE, Oklahoma – The Ouachita women's soccer team recorded its first loss of the season with a 2-0 setback at Oklahoma Baptist on Thursday.
The Tigers drop to 5-1-4 overall and 2-1-1 in Great American Conference games. Oklahoma Baptist improves to 3-6-1 and 2-1-1.
The Bison scored first in the 24th minute and again early in the second half in the 50th minute.
After being held to just one shot in the first half, Ouachita came out more aggressive in the final 45 minutes and ended up with 11 total shots and six shots on frame. The Bison finished with 16 total shots and eight on goal.
The Tigers are back in action on Saturday on the road against Southern Nazarene. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. in Bethany, Oklahoma.
