RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – The Ouachita men's basketball team fell on the road to Arkansas Tech by a score of 85-50 Saturday afternoon.
Ouachita (1-5, 0-2 GAC) opened the game even with Arkansas Tech (4-2, 2-0 GAC), with Tech making the first shot, followed by the Tigers taking their own lead on a
Terran Williams three-pointer. Over the first five minutes of the game, the lead changed eight times and was tied once. The Wonder Boys retook the lead at the 14:37 mark in the first half and began to take control of the contest. Tech stretched its lead to 16 points just before halftime and took a 48-32 lead at the break.
The second half saw the Tigers come out cold and Arkansas Tech come out hot. The Wonder Boys continued to push its lead until the final buzzer with Ouachita falling to Tech by the score of 85-50.
Terran Williams led the Tigers with 19 points. Williams was the only Tiger in double figures.
Reggie Martin led in rebounding with five boards.
The Tigers will look to get back on track as they take on Dallas Christian in Bill Vining Arena on Tuesday, December 5 at 7 p.m.
