ARKADELPHIA – The 13th-ranked Ouachita Baptist University men's tennis team wrapped up its weekend of three home matches on Sunday with a 4-2 loss to 19th-ranked University of Texas at Tyler.
The Tigers (3-2) started by winning the doubles point with wins in first and third position, including
Phil Exner and
Alex Blanchar's win over the sixth-ranked doubles team in the nation. The Patriots (2-1) rallied to win four of the six singles matchups.
Ouachita is off next weekend gearing up for four straight matches on the road in the first two weekends of March.
