Box Score SEARCY, Arkansas – Austynn Crocker and Shelly Davilus each earned singles wins to highlight the Ouachita Baptist University women's tennis team's performance in a 5-2 road loss to Harding University on Thursday.
Crocker's matchup in first position singles ended up being the last remaining battle in the match by far with all eyes on court one. After earning a convincing 6-1 win in the first set, Crocker had a tougher time in the second set against Harding's Grace Dodd, who kept it close throughout and ended up forcing a tiebreaker to determine the winner. Crocker pulled out the win with a 7-5 margin in the tiebreaker.
Davilus also had a tough fight in sixth position singles with a pair of two-set victories.
Ouachita will be back in action on Monday at home against cross-street rival Henderson State University. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
