ARKADELPHIA – 38th-ranked Washburn University spoiled 16th-ranked Ouachita Baptist University's regular season finale with 4-0 win over the Tigers on Friday.
The Ichabods made quick work of the Tigers with convincing doubles wins in first and second positions and then earned straight set wins in fourth, fifth, and sixth position singles.
Ouachita clinched a share of the MIAA/GAC South Division championship this season and will be the No. 2 seed in next week's conference championships in Edmond, Oklahoma starting on Wednesday, April 19.
