ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University men's basketball program has added an NCAA Division 1 transfer, Emoire Knox, to this year's signing class.
Knox, a 6-foot guard from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina has chosen Ouachita as his landing spot after deciding to transfer from D1 Charleston Southern University.
Knox played three seasons at CSU and saw action in a total of 60 games with 17 starts. This past season with the Buccaneers, Knox played in 18 games, averaging just over 13 minutes per game while shooting 40 percent from three-point range.
In high school, Knox averaged 16.5 points and 6.2 assists per game his junior season at Myrtle Beach High. Knox was ranked as the no. 12 player in the 2020 Palmetto State Class.
