ARKADELPHIA – A pair of 2-0 teams are set to meet at Cliff Harris Stadium this Saturday when fifth-ranked Ouachita Baptist University hosts Southern Arkansas University for a Great American Conference football game.

This Saturday's kickoff is set for 6 p.m. General admission tickets will go on sale at least two hours prior to kickoff. Tickets purchased online can be claimed at the will call booth. The game can be heard on the Ouachita Football Network on affiliate stations statewide. The Ouachita Sports Digital Network will broadcast the game for free on YouTube. The Tigers are off to a 2-0 start following a dominating 66-0 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State last Saturday at home. Prior to that, Ouachita opened the season with a 38-14 win on the road against Southwestern Oklahoma State on August 31.

The Muleriders are also 2-0 to start the year with closer margins of victory than Ouachita in the first two weeks. SAU opened the year with a 34-19 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State at home, and then came from down 17-0 at halftime to beat East Central last Thursday on the road in overtime by a final score of 24-17.

Ouachita has won six straight against SAU, including a 63-31 win over the Muleriders last year in the Murphy USA Classic in El Dorado. It will be the 79th all-time meeting in football between Ouachita and SAU with the Tigers holding the all-time lead 43-34-1.
