MEMPHIS, Tennessee – The Ouachita men's soccer team wrapped up the opening weekend of the 2023 season on Saturday with a 1-0 loss on the road to Christian Brothers.
The Bucs (2-0) scored the only game of the contest in the final two minutes of the first half.
Ouachita (0-2) was held to two shots in the game and just one shot on goal from
Ebon Jordan, which came in the 84th minute but was saved by the CBU goalkeeper to avoid the potential equalizer finding the net.

Masaya Nitta had six saves in a complete-game effort after facing a total of 26 shots in the game.
The Tigers are back on the road next week, taking on Delta State in Cleveland, Mississippi on Friday, September 8 before taking on Mississippi College that following Sunday in Clinton.
