ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's swimming and diving team fell to No. 11 Delta State Friday evening in Waggoner Pool.
The final score of the dual meet was 155-78 in favor of the Lady Statesmen.
The Tigersharks recorded three event winners in Friday's meet.
Keilee Holcomb won the 200 Freestyle by more than a second with a time of 1:55.18. Holcomb also placed third in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 4:14.45, just 0.12 seconds out of second place.
Anna Phelps earned a win in the 400 IM by more than five seconds with a time of 4:41.13. Phelps also took second in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 59.12.
Bella Howell took first place in the 3-Meter Dive with a score of 146.48 points.
In total, the Tigershark women tallied 13 top three finishes and 27 top five finishes in the loss.
The Tigersharks will be back in action next weekend taking on the Bulldogs of Truman State University in a two-day meet on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 in Kirksville, Missouri.
