SHAWNEE, Oklahoma – Oklahoma Baptist scored in the final seconds of Wednesday's game to beat the Ouachita women's soccer team by a final score of 2-1.
With the 10 second countdown going over the speakers, OKB's Lex Williamson scored from the assist of Sam Sheffield for the game-winner.
Ouachita had equalized the score in the 79th minute on a goal from
Jorden Nelson from the assist of
Teagan Jaussi. It was Nelson's second goal of the year and Jaussi's GAC-leading sixth assist.
The Bison opened the scoring in the first half with a goal in the ninth minute.
OKB led in total shots 18-12 and led 7-6 in shots on frame.
The Tigers are back in action this Saturday, October 26 for Senior Day. Ouachita hosts Southern Nazarene for a 2 p.m. kickoff.
