TIGERS RANK IN TOP 10 NATIONALLY, FIFTH IN REGION

ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University football team has held on to a top 10 national ranking and checks in at No. 5 this week in Super Region 3.

The top seven teams from the region will make the playoffs. The No. 1 seed gets a first-round bye. In the national rankings, Ouachita dropped six spots to No. 9 in this week's American Football Coaches Association Top 25 poll following the team's first loss of the season, an 18-17 setback to Southern Nazarene last Thursday night at home. Ouachita has now been ranked nationally by the AFCA in 73 of the last 74 polls, reaching as high as No. 3 twice during that time.

The Tigers will look to bounce back from last week's loss this Saturday, November 9 on the road against Oklahoma Baptist. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. in Shawnee.
