KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Three student-athletes from the Ouachita women's soccer team have been selected to the 2024 United Soccer Coaches All-Central Region Team.
Sophomore midfielder Teagan Jaussi headlines the Tiger honorees with a spot on the first team, her second first team all-region honor this season. She was selected the D2 Conference Commissioners Association All-Region First Team in November.
Senior defender Sophia Valencia and sophomore midfielder Reese Brown were both selected to the USC All-Region Second Team.
Jaussi, Valencia, and Brown led the Tigers to the Great American Conference regular season and tournament championships this past season in route to the team's second straight appearance in the NCAA tournament.
Jaussi was a unanimous selection to the All-GAC First Team after anchoring the Tiger midfield this season, and also leading the team in scoring with six goals and five assists for 17 total points. She was picked as the GAC Championship Tournament MVP.
Brown and Valencia were also All-GAC First Team selections this year. Brown added four goals and four assists this season. Valencia started all 20 games on the back line and also had one assist.
