MEMPHIS, Tennessee – The Ouachita women's tennis team opened its weekend trip to Memphis on Friday with a 8-1 win over Rhodes College indoors at the Leftwich Tennis Center.

The Tigers swept all three doubles matchups and earned three points in doing so playing by NCAA Division III rules. Then in singles, Ouachita won five of the six matchups to earn the decisive victory, moving to 3-4 this season.

Ouachita is back in action on Saturday in Memphis in a neutral site match against Lane College. Saturday's match is set to be played outdoors at Rhodes College starting at 1 p.m.
