ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's tennis team finished the weekend with a 4-2 loss at home to 25th-ranked Northwest Missouri State.
With the match being played indoors at the Ward Tennis Center, the two teams played to clinch. The Bearcats (9-0) earned wins in second and third position doubles to take the point and move into singles, where they won third, fourth, and sixth positions to seal the win.
No. 1 and No. 2 singles went to the Tigers with
Sadbaroy Kholdarova taking down Carolina Lima De Oliveira in a close first position matchup by scores of 6-4 and 7-5. Crocker beat Sofia Pignataro in second position with scores of 6-3 and 7-6.
The Tigers are back in action this Wednesday at home against Nebraska-Kearney.
