ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's tennis team came up short on Saturday in its final home conference match of the season in a 6-1 loss to Harding.

Shelly Davilus and Ruxandra Tolescu earned a 7-5 win in third position doubles, but Harding won on the first two courts to take a 1-0 lead into singles.

Sadbaroy Kholdarova remained unbeaten in conference matches and won her sixth straight singles matchup with a victory in first position for Ouachita's only point. Two other singles matchups needed a third set to break the tie, and the other two matchups went to seven games in at least one set.

The Tigers are back in action on Monday across the street against Henderson State. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
