ARKADELPHIA – Eight student-athletes from Ouachita's men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for the 2023-24 season.
Requirements for the honor include having reached at least sophomore academic standing, be a significant contributor in the pool, and carry at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.
The four Tigershark women and their majors were:
Didi Christenson, criminal justice and history;
Rachel Del Angel, Biology;
Elise Henderson, political science; and
Keilee Holcomb, psychology and sociology.
The four Tigershark men and their majors were:
Tyler Andruss, finance and business administration;
Elijah Christenson, biomedical sciences;
Jeff McCoy, accounting; and
Noah Smith, Kinesiology.
Ouachita was one of two schools from the New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference to have its student-athletes selected to the CSC Academic All-District Teams. The other NSISC member, the University of Montevallo had four of its swimmers selected.
