DURANT, Oklahoma – In what ended up being a closer match than what the final score alludes to, the Ouachita women's tennis team dropped a Great American Conference contest on the road on Friday to Southeastern Oklahoma State by a final of 6-1.
Sadbaroy Kholdarova accounted for Ouachita's only point in the match with a three-set win in first position, coming back from losing the first set to earn convincing wins in the second and third sets.
Two other singles matchups needed a third set to determine a victor. Two other matchups in singles ended in two sets, but both were competitive with the Tigers winning four games in three of the four sets.
The Tigers are now set for a stretch of four straight matches in Arkadelphia to close out of the regular season. Next up is a GAC match on Tuesday, April 9 at home against Southern Arkansas.
