TYLER, Texas – The Ouachita women's soccer team played its final road non-conference game on Wednesday, resulting in a 4-0 loss to UT-Tyler.
After a defensive start, the Patriots (4-0) took a 1-0 lead nearing halftime with a goal in the 43rd minute. A quick goal in the second half coming in the 51st minute gave UTT a 2-0 lead.
The third came in the 64th minute with the final goal coming by way of own goal in the 73rd.
The Patriots led 20-7 in total shots and 8-4 in shots on frame.
Hattie Gardner accounted for three of Ouachita's shots, all on frame.
Ouachita (1-3) is back at home this Saturday, September 21 to take on Texas Woman's University in the final non-conference game of the season. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Kluck Field.
