ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's soccer team concluded the non-conference portion of its 2024 schedule on Saturday with a 2-1 loss at home to Texas Woman's.
All three combined goals came in the first half with the Pioneers (4-1) finding the net in the 11th and 15th minutes, respectively.
The Tigers (1-4) answered in the 25th minute on a strike from
Reese Brown following a cross by
Teagan Jaussi. It was Brown's second goal of the season and fifth of her career. For Jaussi, it was her third assist of the season and fourth of her career.
Both teams were held scoreless the remainder of the game despite 20 total shots from TWU and eight from Ouachita.
Next up for the Tigers is the first Great American Conference game of the season next Saturday, September 28 on the road against East Central.
