ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University football team is set for its second straight road trip and fourth overall this season when it travels to face off against the University of Arkansas at Monticello this Saturday, October 18.
Saturday's kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. at Convoy-Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium in Monticello. The game was originally scheduled for a 2 p.m. kickoff, but team officials made the switch due to inclement weather in the forecast for Saturday afternoon and evening.
The game can be heard on the Ouachita Football Radio Network originating at KARN-FM 102.9 in Little Rock and available on stations throughout the state of Arkansas. A list of stations can be found at

The Tigers enter Saturday's game winners of their last two outings, including a 28-7 road win over Southern Nazarene last Saturday in Oklahoma to even the team's season record at 3-3.
The Weevils were closing in on their third straight victory last Saturday on the road against Oklahoma Baptist, but a interception in the redzone with less than a minute remaining in regulation allowed the Bison to escape with a 17-14 victory to drop UAM to 2-4 this season.
Saturday's game is the 84th all-time meeting between Ouachita and UAM in football. The Tigers lead the series 49-33-1 and are 12-1 against the Weevils since both teams became charter members of the Great American Conference in 2011. Ouachita carries a seven-game winning streak over UAM into Saturday's game, including a 49-14 victory last year at Cliff Harris Stadium in week four.
