The Tigers are above .500 for the first time this season at 4-3, thanks in part to a dominating 45-10 road victory over Arkansas-Monticello last Saturday.
The Mulderiders come to Arkadelphia ranked No. 25 nationally by the American Football Coaches Association and No. 22 by D2Football.com. SAU most recently took care of business in El Dorado last Saturday in a 42-7 win over Arkansas Tech in the Murphy USA Classic.
This is the 81st meeting between Ouachita and SAU in football. The Tigers lead the series 45-34-1 and have won eight straight over the Muleriders, including last year's 25-20 road victory in Magnolia in week three.
Ouachita is set to honor former football players as a part of alumni day. Former players and coaches in attendance will be recognized at halftime of Saturday's game.
