SEARCY, Arkansas – Marlee Bledsoe won singles flight six to highlight the Ouachita women's tennis performances this week at the Great American Conference Fall Championships.
Bledsoe swept through the bracket with wins over opponents from Henderson State and Arkansas Tech, including a 6-3, 7-5 win over HSU's Lily Winter in the finals of flight six.
The Tigers combined for 11 wins at the event, which was the final date on the schedule for the fall.
Anastasia Myachina and
Jaelyn Walker each won the consolation brackets of their respective singles flights. Myachina and
Macie Heide teamed up in doubles to go 2-1 and win the consolation bracket in flight three.
Pfaefflin also earned a singles victory at the tournament. She and
Karli Gay went 1-1 in doubles. Walker and Bledsoe also went 1-1 in doubles.
