INDIANAPOLIS -- The Ouachita wrestling team competed in the 46th Annual Midwest Classic in Indianapolis as three Tigers won multiple matches over the weekend, including Jimmy Anderson, Ethan Day and BK Seago. 

Anderson won his first three bouts and outscored his opponents by a combined score of 23-0 before he was forced to medically retire from the tournament due to a knee injury. Ouachita's fifth-ranked, 133-pounder holds a 7-1 record in an impressive start to his senior campaign. 

Day dropped his opening bout, but responded with consecutive wins in the consolation rounds before ending his tournament run 2-2. The 174-pound freshman transfer has a 10-7 record in his debut season with the Tigers. 

Seago emerged victorious in his opening bout and later earned a 3-2 decision over tenth-ranked 285-pounder Parker Bentley of West Liberty. The junior heavyweight finished 3-2 for the Tigers and secured a ranked win in Indianapolis, improving his record to 10-3 this season.
