TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma – The Ouachita women's tennis team opened its weekend road trip with a 4-3 road victory over Northeastern State on Saturday.
The Tigers will be back in action on Sunday at Arkansas-Fort Smith.
In Saturday's win over the Riverhawks, the Tigers came away with the doubles point with wins from Sadbaroy Kholdarova and Natalia Zamora Caprirolo on court one and Alice Kubler and Ali May on court three.
Kholdarova and Kubler each stayed unbeaten in the match with wins in singles at No. 1 and No. 3, respectively. Anastasia Myachina earned the clinching win with a come-from-behind three-set victory at No. 6 singles.
