INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Two more members of the Ouachita swimming & diving teams earned All-America honors on day four of the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships at the IU Natatorium.
Miles Schulze became a First Team All-American for the second year in a row after placing seventh in the Championship Final of the 100 Breaststroke with a program-record time of 53.27, less than a second away from third place. The senior from Prosper, Texas earned the Tigersharks 12 points for his finish.
Anna Phelps became the first Tigershark woman to earn All-American honors since 2012 after placing sixth in the Consolation Final of the 200 Butterfly with a time of 2:03.26, missing fourth place by just 0.14 seconds. Placing in the Consolation Final earned Phelps Second Team All-America honors and scored three points for Ouachita. Those points are also the first scored by Ouachita's women since 2012.
After four days of competition, the Ouachita men sit in 19
th place overall with 49 points. The Tigersharks still lead the NSISC in the standings as Delta State is currently 24
th with 16 points and Henderson State is 31
st with 11 points.
The women have gotten on the board for the first time in 13 years and are currently in the top 35. On the women's side, NSISC Champion West Florida is in 11
th place, followed by Delta State in 19
th, and Henderson State in 24
th.
There is just one more day of competition left at the 2025 National Championships. All four individually qualified Tigersharks, along with the 400 Freestyle Relay team will be in the pool on the final day of nationals starting with trials at 10 a.m. EST, and Finals starting at 5:30 p.m. EST.
