ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's tennis was back in action on Friday at home against 31st-ranked Texas-Tyler resulting in a 6-1 win for the Patriots.
Ouachita's Sadbaroy Kholdarova and Natalia Zamora Caprirolo started off with a convincing win in doubles on court one, but the Patriots came back to win on courts two and three to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles.
Kholdarova secured Ouachita's only point in the match at No. 1 singles with a hard-fought two-set victory over UT-Tyler's Natalia Gorzny. With the win, Kholdarova remains unbeaten at No. 1 singles this spring at 9-0.
The Tigers cross the street this upcoming Wednesday, March 19 for a non-conference matchup against Henderson State. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
