ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's tennis team crossed the street to take on Henderson State in a non-conference match on a windy Tuesday afternoon, resulting in a 5-2 win for the Reddies.
The Reddies swept through doubles to take a 1-0 lead into singles. Ouachita's points came at No. 3 with Alice Kubler winning in a tiebreaker and No. 6 with Karli Gay coming away with a hard-fought two-set victory.
The Tigers are back in action next week with a Spring Break trip to Texas to take on Weatherford College on March 25 and UT-Dallas on March 28 before returning home to open Great American Conference play on March 30 against Southeastern Oklahoma State.
