ARKADELPHIA – Three from the Ouachita women's basketball team and one from the men's team have been selected to the 2024-25 Academic All-District Team presented by College Sports Communicators.

Joey Babel, Heidi Robinson, and Madeleine Tipton represent the Tiger women's basketball team. MJ Leslie represents the men's team.

To qualify for the CSC honor, the student-athlete must be a starter or significant reserve and carry at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA. True freshmen are not eligible for the honor. The CSC Academic All-America team will be announced on April 16.

This is the second straight year for Tipton and Leslie to earn the honor. Tipton was recently selected as a Great American Conference Distinguished Scholar Athlete for the second straight season.

Leslie is set to graduate this spring with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology. Tipton carries a perfect 4.0 GPA in pursuit of a degree in kinesiology and education. Babel is majoring in kinesiology. Robinson is also majoring in kinesiology and education.
