ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Sports Digital Network will remain free for 2026-27.

Since its inception in 2019, OSDN has offered and will continue to provide high-quality broadcast coverage of home events for the Ouachita athletic teams for free through the OSDN YouTube channel.

OSDN also produces weekly podcasts, interviews, and special projects featuring Ouachita coaches and student-athletes.

The network is under the leadership of Chris Babb, who serves as assistant professor and director of sports media in the Rogers Department of Communications. The rest of the OSDN crew primarily consists of Ouachita students.

"We're happy to still be able to offer our students' work at no charge to those who want to watch Ouachita athletics," said Babb. "Our students take pride in their work and that is noticed by fans of our teams and our opponents. I'm looking forward to seeing what our students produce this school year."

"What we have is special," said Ouachita Director of Athletics David Sharp. "OSDN has become known as one of the best small college production departments in the world, and we're fortunate that the exposure for our teams reaches a global audience."

The Great American Conference announced on Friday the creation of a subscription-based webcast network. Seven of the league's 12 full members have opted to participate in the network for 2026-27. Ouachita is one of five in the league that have opted out.

The schools that will be broadcasting through the new GAC Sports Network include Arkansas Tech, Arkansas-Monticello, East Central, Oklahoma Baptist, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Southern Arkansas, and Southern Nazarene. Ouachita fans wishing to watch the Tigers play on the road against those seven teams will need a subscription. More information can be found here.

Ouachita, Harding, Henderson State, Northwestern Oklahoma State, and Southwestern Oklahoma State will continue to operate autonomously.

The first OSDN broadcast for 2026-27 is set for next Thursday, August 27 with a men's and women's soccer double header starting at 3 p.m.
