RICHARDSON, Texas – The Ouachita women's tennis team is headed back to Arkadelphia on a high note after taking down Texas-Dallas on Thursday night with a clean sweep of 7-0.
The Tigers won all doubles and singles matchups in the win for the team's first sweep of the season.
Alice Kubler and Karli Gay had a dominating win at No. 2 doubles to kick things off. Sadbaroy Kholdarova and Natalia Zamora Capririolo followed closely and pulled off a 6-2 win.
In singles, only one Tiger needed a tiebreaker to determine a victory with Karli Gay rallying back from dropping the first set at No. 5 to win the point and keep the Comets off the board.
Ouachita is back in action this upcoming Sunday, March 30 at home for a Great American Conference match against Southeastern Oklahoma State.
