ARKADELPHIA – The 2025 Ouachita Baptist University football schedule has been unveiled.
Coming off a 2024 season that ended with a share of the Great American Conference championship and a spot in the NCAA Division II playoffs, the 2025 Tigers will open the season on Thursday, September 4 on the road against East Central.
The Tigers have six home games in 2025, including back-to-back home games in September, the homecoming game on October 4, football alumni day on October 25, senior day on November 1, and the 98th edition of the Battle of the Ravine on November 15 against cross-street rival Henderson State. Ouachita Athletics will also recognize its newest hall of fame members during the November 1 game.
"We're excited about another tough schedule," said Todd Knight, the 2025 Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame inductee who is entering his 26th season as head football coach at his alma mater. "As we saw last year, anyone can beat anyone in our league, so it's going to be important that we have a productive summer getting ready for 11 straight conference games and the playoffs, if we're fortunate enough to get there again."
For the 10th straight season, all 12 Great American Conference schools will play each other in 11 consecutive weeks to determine the league's champion. The Tigers have won a league-best seven GAC championships and enter the 2025 campaign with a streak of 16 consecutive winning seasons, the longest active streak among all college football programs in the state of Arkansas.
