FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas – The Ouachita women's tennis team wrapped up its spring 2025 season on Saturday with a 4-2 loss to 36th-ranked Southern Arkansas in the semifinals of the Great American Conference Championship Tournament.
The Tigers conclude the program's most successful season since joining the Great American Conference with an 11-11 overall record, highlighted by two conference wins in the regular season and the program's first ever GAC tournament win in a 4-2 victory over Henderson State on Friday in the quarterfinals.
In Saturday's semifinals match, the Muleriders came away victorious on all three doubles courts to take a 1-0 lead into singles.
In singles, Anastasia Myachina earned a dominant two-set win for the Tigers on court four, but SAU took points on courts two, three, and five to clinch the team victory and move on to the GAC tournament finals.
