RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – The Ouachita Baptist University volleyball team has been selected as the preseason favorite in the Great American Conference ahead of the 2025 season.
The Tigers earned 110 poll points and received six of the 12 first-place votes in the coaches poll. Harding followed in second with 108 points and three-first place votes, Oklahoma Baptist came in third with 101 points and one first-place vote.
Ouachita won its first GAC Tournament Championship in 2024, sweeping Harding in the finals to earn the program's first-ever bid to the NCAA Tournament.
16 letterwinners, including three-all conference performers, return from last year's squad that posted Ouachita's first 20-win season since 2018 with a final overall record of 22-10.
The Tigers open the 2025 season on Friday, September 5 against UT-Dallas and Mississippi College as part of the UT-Tyler Patriot Classic.
