EDMOND, Oklahoma – The Ouachita women's tennis team earned a combined 13 victories this past weekend competing at the ITA Central Region Championships.

Natalia Zamora Caprirolo highlighted Ouachita's performances in singles by advancing to the semifinals of the consolation flight of the A bracket, finishing with a 3-2 record for the weekend. Freshman Jaelyn Walker won her first two singles matchups and advanced to the round of 16 in the championship flight of the B bracket. Anastasia Myachina made it to the quarterfinals of the consolation flight in the B bracket with a final 2-2 record.

Karli Gay, Macie Heide, and Marlee Bledsoe all recorded one win in singles competition.

The tandem of Bledsoe and Walker highlighted the Ouachita performances in doubles by winning the consolation flight of the B bracket with a final 3-1 record.

Next on the fall schedule is a trip to Searcy October 17-18 for the Harding Invitational.
