CLINTON, Mississippi - The Ouachita Baptist women's cross country claimed the top spot out of 29 teams at the Watson Classic, hosted by Mississippi Christian, on Friday morning.
Earning 45 points, seven Tigers finished inside the Top-15.
Lucy Holden paced the Tigers, placing fifth overall with a personal-best time of 22:41.9.
Makenzie Wood finished seventh overall with a time of 22:51.4, followed by
Blair Turpen in tenth with a personal-best time of 23:00.5,
Ellie Hoemann in eleventh (23:04.0),
Meg Swindle in twelfth with a personal-best time of 23:08.9,
Ellie Akins in thirteenth (23:13.4), and
Landry Lay in fourteenth (23:14.9).
Ouachita returns home to host the Tiger Invite on Saturday, October 24 at 8:45 a.m.
