ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita men's tennis team opened the 2026 spring season on Saturday with a pair of convincing wins at home, taking down Christian Brothers 7-0 and Texas A&M Texarkana 4-0.
The Tigers had wins on all three doubles courts and all six singles courts in the win over CBU.
Yarin Aebi had the clincher in singles after blanking his opponent 6-0 in the first set and needing extra points to win the second set at the No. 2 line.
Guillaume Randoux later shutout his opponent at No. 5 with a pair of 6-0 wins.
Against TAMUT, the Tigers made quick work of the eagles to start in doubles, highlighted by 6-0 wins on courts two and three.
Aaron Osmond had the clincher against the Eagles with a 6-3, 6-2 win on court three after Aebi and
Ramon Strassmann had already earned wins on courts one and two.
The Tigers head to Edmond, Oklahoma next Saturday for a neutral site contest against Southwest Baptist.
