ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita men's tennis team fell to Drury on Saturday at home by a final score of 4-3.
The Tigers (10-3) started Saturday's match by winning the doubles point with victories on courts one and two.
Yarin Aebi and
Ramon Strassmann won 6-3 on court one. Mortiz Buss and
Aaron Osmond won 6-3 on court two.
The Panthers (7-4) got that point back right away in singles with Jesus Gonzalez handing
Ramon Strassmann his first loss of the spring season by scores of 6-4 and 6-3.
Maximilian Brenner put the Tigers back on top with a two-set victory on court six.
Yarin Aebi also earned a singles win with a close two-set victory on court two.
Drury earned wins on courts three, four, and five to clinch the overall match victory.
Up next for the Tigers is a Spring Break trip to South Carolina to take on Converse University in Spartanburg this Tuesday, March 24.
