ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's tennis team hung with Harding from start to finish, but ended up falling 4-3 to the Bisons Saturday afternoon on Senior Day.
The Bisons swept doubles by scores of 6-3 on all three courts before splitting the singles courts.
Finding themselves down 3-0 in singles, the Tigers fought back with wins from
Alice Kubler on court four and
Anastasia Myachina on court two. The Bisons clinched on court six before
Ruxandra Tolescu secured the third Tiger point with a win on court three.
Prior to Saturday's match, the Tigers honored their two seniors,
Natalia Zamora Caprirolo and
Marlee Bledsoe, who are wrapping up their collegiate tennis careers this season.
The Tigers are back in action on Monday, traveling to Russellville to take on Arkansas Tech in Great American Conference action.
