TIGERS PUNCH NCAA TICKET FOR 22ND TIME

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – For the 22nd time in program history, the Ouachita men's tennis team has earned a spot in the NCAA Division II tournament.

The Tigers have been selected as an at-large team in the central region. As the No. 5 seed, Ouachita has drawn a rubber match with No. 4 seed Northwest Missouri State to be played next Monday, May 11 at 2 p.m. in Topeka, Kansas at Washburn University.

The Tigers and Bearcats split their previous two matchups this season with Ouachita winning 5-2 at home on February 28 and Northwest Missouri winning 4-3 this past Thursday in the opening round of the MIAA/GAC Championship Tournament.

The winner of the third installment of the series this season advances to face the host and No. 1 seed Washburn on Tuesday, May 12 at 2 p.m. The winner of that match advances to the NCAA Round of 16 in Surprise, Arizona May 20-24.
