D2Football.com included a pair of Ouachita Tigers on its Elite 100 Watch List for the 2026 season released Wednesday night.

Senior receiver and return specialist Carter McElhany made the second team, and junior linebacker Justin Crutchmer made the squad list.

McElhany was a unanimous selection to the All-Great American Conference First Team last season after leading the league in most receiving categories. He is a three-time All-GAC performer in his career and is just 20 receiving yards away from entering the top 10 all-time at Ouachita. He is also one of the most dynamic return specialists in the nation, best showcased in his 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown last season that was featured as the No. 1 play on ESPN Sportscenter Top 10.

This is the second preseason watch list for McElhany entering his senior campaign. The Greenbrier, Arkansas native also made the The CFB Network's Preseason All-America squad.

Crutchmer also made the All-GAC First Team last season after leading the nation in fumbles forced with seven. The Hot Springs, Arkansas native also led the Tigers in tackles with 79.
