RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – The Ouachita men's cross country team has been voted No. 4 in the 2026 Great American Conference preseason coaches' poll.
The Tigers finished fourth at last year's GAC championship meet in Monticello with a core group of runners back from that group.
The team's leading returner is sophomore
Caleb Greenwich, who finished seventh at the GAC meet last year to earn first team all-conference honors with a school-record 8K time of 24:30.87. He was also the league's highest-placing freshman, which earned him GAC Freshman of the Year accolades.

Gabriel Metoyer, senior
Logan Gates, sophomore
Nick Wheeler, and sophomore
Henry Woods. Incoming freshmen
Matthew Thurman and
Ethan Lacy have emerged as newcomers expected to compete for top spots in 2026.
The 2026 season gets underway on Saturday, September 12 with the annual Bob Gravett Invitational in Arkadelphia. The Tigers will run in five regular season meets before competing for the GAC title on November 7 in Alva, Oklahoma.
