CLAREMORE, Oklahoma - The Ouachita Baptist women's soccer team battled Rogers State to a 2-2 draw Sunday morning at Soldier Field.

Rogers State opened the scoring in the 16th minute to give the Hillcats a 1-0 advantage.

Facing a deficit, Ouachita's aggressive offensive attack paid off in the 33rd minute when
Reese Brown found the back of the net on an assist from
Christina Alvarez, leveling the match at 1-1.

The Tigers claimed their first lead of the game, 2-1, in the 56th minute, as
McKenna Wright scored her second goal of the season.

Rogers State answered less than three minutes later, scoring the equalizer and notching the score at 2-2 in the 59th minute. The Tigers ultimately settled for the 2-2 draw after 90 minutes.

Ouachita finished the match with a commanding 26-11 advantage in shots, putting nine shots on frame. Dominique Kuljian finished the match with four saves in goal.

Ouachita returns home to Kluck Field on Friday, Sept. 11 with a game against Washburn at 3 p.m.
