Box Score ADA, Okla. – The OBU Lady Tigers lost their first game of the conference season on Sunday, falling to East Central University by a score of 2-3.
Scoring was back and forth all match, keeping the game neck and neck. The first lead came in the 20
th minute when East Central senior Ashley Bradford scored off of a pass from junior Taylor Graves. Ouachita answered later in the first half when sophomore
Morgan Allen tied the game on a free kick by senior
Morgan Pitchford. The teams went into halftime tied at one.
East Central took their second lead of the contest in the middle of the second half on an unassisted goal by senior Susana Galvez.

Haley Hatcher, gave the Lady Tigers their second goal in the 73
rd minute, only a minute after East Central's goal.
After 90 minutes of play, the teams ended in the 2-2 tie, forcing overtime. Nine minutes into overtime, Bradford scored her second goal for ECU, ending the game in favor of East Central.
OBU took a total of 25 shots in the game, including 10 from Hatcher. Senior
Sarah Broyles finished with six saves as Ouachita's goalkeeper.
The Lady Tigers (8-2-1, 3-1-1) play again on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 1:30 p.m. against Texas A&M University- Commerce.
