Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The OBU Tiger volleyball team was defeated by the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm on Friday in four sets (25-23, 25-20, 14-25, 15-22).
The first two sets were extremely close, in which OBU had 25 kills and SNU had 26. Both sets were won by the Crimson Storm, however, who had a cumulative attack percentage of .231.
The Tigers showed how dangerous they can be in the third set as they dominated the Crimson Storm in a 25-14 win. In the set, the Tigers had an attack percentage of .297 and only committed two attack errors. On the opposite side, SNU had eight attack errors and only nine kills, for a percentage of .024.
The fourth set came down to the wire, but Southern Nazarene grabbed the win, beating OBU 25-22 in the set.
Senior Jamie Hope led the Crimson Storm with 16 kills. She also added 10 digs to earn a double-double. Junior Kaylee Piatt led SNU in both assists and digs with 33 and 15, respectively.

Stephanie Pollnow led the Tigers in kills, both scoring 11. Senior
Kelsi Bodine also added seven kills and provided some much need momentum for the team. Junior
Tara Wait finished with a team-high 33 assists, and junior
Chelsey Hess led the Tigers with 15 digs.
The Tigers (8-4, 2-3) take the court again on Saturday as they face Texas Southern University at OBU. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
