The SeriesOuachita leads the all-time series 4-3. Since joining the GAC, Ouachita has a 3-0 advantage over Northwestern Oklahoma State.
In three GAC contest, the Tigers have outscored the Rangers 141-34. The average margin of victory for Ouachita in the last three games has been 35.6 points.
Last season's 41-10 win was Ouachita's first ever victory over the Rangers in Alva, Okla. The last time Northwestern won in Arkadelphia was in 1995

Safety
Devin Price led the Tigers with eight tackles. He also added a tackle for loss and a forced fumble in the Tigers 41-10 victory.
By the NumbersKe'Vontae Pope leads the GAC in kickoff returns with 37.1 yards per return average. Against SWOSU, Pope returned four kickoffs for 25 yards or more (25, 37, 54 & 57). Pope's yard per return average is second best in Division II.
Quarterback
Austin Warford leads the GAC in total rushing yards and rushing yards per game. He's rushed for 336 yards and averages 112per game. His yard per carry average is 7.15.
Kendrick Henderson,
Luke Holt and
Ricardy Joseph lead the Tigers with 15 solo tackles a piece through the first three games. Joseph leads all defenders on the Tigers with 26 tackles. Holt has 21 and Henderson has 20.
Ouachita's offensive line has allowed three sacks so far this season. The Rangers have allowed 10. Defensively, the Tigers have four sacks. The Rangers have recorded six sacks this season.
The Tigers are one of the least penalized teams in the GAC, averaging 59.67 penalty yards per game. The Tigers have been penalized an average of 6.67 times per game.

Etauj Allen returned two punts for touchdowns and senior running back
Steven Kehner rushed for three scores to lead the Ouachita Tigers to a 41-10 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State in Alva, Oklahoma. The Tigers improved to 5-0 and dropped Northwestern to 1-5.
The Tigers opened the first half with a 12 play, 69-yard drive, taking five and a half minutes off the clock. Ouachita senior kicker Matt Ehasz split the uprights from 28 yards out to give the Tigers a 3-0 lead. Senior return man
Etauj Allen scored next for the Tigers, returning a punt 48 yards for the score, giving Ouachita a 10-0 lead. Ouachita's defense dominated the first quarter, forcing three straight three-and-outs by the Northwestern offense and holding them to nine yards of total offense and no first downs.
The Tigers scored first in the second quarter on a 32 yard field goal by Ehasz and looked to be in control early with a 13-0 lead. Northwestern would respond on the ensuing drive with a 33-yard touchdown pass, cutting the lead to 13-7. After a Tiger punt, the Rangers would connect on a 30-yard field goal cutting the lead to three. Ouachita's offense answered the challenge five play, 75-yard drive highlighted by a 53-yard run by quarterback
Kiehl Frazier.
Steven Kehner would punch it in from and Ouachita would lead 20-10 at the end of the first half.
Ouachita started quickly in the second half, extending their lead by 17 on a 50-yard touchdown run by
Steven Kehner for his second score of the game. The Tiger defense forced another Northwestern three-and-out on the ensuing drive, putting the ball in
Etauj Allen's hands again.
Allen fielded a booming 58-yard punt by Northwestern at his own 18 yard line. After eluding three defenders, Allen would cut back across the field to scamper 82 yards for the score. Trailing by 24, Northwestern would drive down inside the Ouachita 10 yard line. The Rangers were turned away empty-handed as the Ouachita red-zone defense held them scoreless and forced a fumble to end the drive. At the end of the third quarter, Ouachita led 34-10.
The Tigers increased the lead by seven after a seven play, 99-yard drive culminated by Kehner's third rushing touchdown of the second half. Kehner's six-yard run gave Ouachita a 41-10 lead. That score would hold for the final.
