EDMOND, OKLA. - Tiger cross country takes 9th place at the Great American Conference meet held on Saturday in Oklahoma. The total finishing team time for Ouachita was 1:48:25.
 
Kyndal Moyer (Lampasas, Texas) was the first Tiger to finish at 33rd overall and a time of 20:26.9.
 
Freshman Jessi Bennett (Camden, Ark) was the next Tiger to finish at 42nd overall and a time of 20:42.5.
 
Following Bennett, was Jorie Beaumont (Lockport, ILL) who finished 64th overall with a time of 21:44.9.
 
Elizabeth Costner (Fayetteville, Ark) finished behind Beaumont taking 81st overall with a time of 22:41.7. Next was Grace Loftin (Shreveport, LA)  who finished 83rd overall with a time of 22:48.9. Finishing at 99th overall, Kallie Polk (Bella Vista, Ark) was the next Tiger to finish with a time of 23:39.5. Taryn Bewley (Conway, Ark) finished right behind Polk to take the 100th overall finish with a time of 23:41.4. Rounding out the Tigers was Eden Putterill (Harare, Zimbabwe) who finished 117th overall and a time of 26:01.9.
 
The Tigers finished ahead of in-state rivals Henderson State and Arkansas-Monticello in the meet. Oklahoma Baptist ran away with the competition, literally as they placed seven runners inside the top-10 and three inside the top-five. Harding and East Central rounded out the top-three.
