GAC Release
RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Earlier today the Great American Conference announced Winter and Spring Student-Athlete All-Academic honor roll, Ouachita placed 35 student-athletes on the list.

The Ouachita baseball team was tops in the GAC with their 12 selections, while the Ouachita softball team tied for the league lead with 9 selections.
Eight Tiger student-athletes registered a perfect 4.0 GPA and 15 student-athletes recorded at least a 3.70 GPA.
Oklahoma Baptist led the GAC with 63 student-athletes earning GAC Academic All-Conference honors. Harding came in second with 61 student-athletes and Southern Nazarene rounded out the top-three.
In order to be recognized by the GAC a student must be a sophomore both on and off the playing surface. The student-athlete must complete at least one full academic year at the nominating institution. The athlete must also have maintained a minimum grade-point average of a 3.30 on a 4.0 scale.
