ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Tiger's Men's Tennis wins their fourth straight with a 5-2 victory over McKendree University.
The day started off for the Tigers with a doubles win as
Nair Adi and
Tobias Fuerschuss defeated their Bearcats opponents 6-1. However, Ouachita would drop the other two doubles matchups to allow McKendree to take a 1-0 lead into singles play.
In singles play
Juan Moncada would lead off the Tigers in the one hole as he would defeat Alywn Mushonga 6-3, 7-5.
Francisco Oliveira would continue the Tigers winnings ways as he would take out his Bearcats opponent 6-0, 6-4.
The third and fourth holes would continue to get the victories for the Tigers.
Dan Kaplun would win easily with a 6-3, 6-0 victory.
Santiago Kearney would also capture a win with a 6-0, 6-1 domination of his McKendree foe.
Nair Adi would end it for the Tigers as he would beat Vishnu Prasad of McKendree with a 6-2, 6-3 lead.
This is the Tigers second win in a row at home as Ouachita would defeat William Jewell 7-0 on March 1. The Tigers are back in action on Saturday March 16 against Newman University at the Ward Tennis Center at 11:00 AM. Come out to the Ward Tennis Center to support your Tigers!
